Pure Energy Services/FMC
Technologies:
Engineered
and deployed 28 field service trailers systems with auto acquiring
satellite
mounts connected through an iDirect platform. Building in LAN and Wi-Fi
connectivity along with VoIP services and later adding cellular DAS
systems to
complete a real-time connection between the remote office and the
corporate
headquarters. Total initial cost of this project $500,000.00, with a
total
yearly revenue for ongoing services and maintenance of $100,000.00 for
8 years.
Bringing total project revenues to $1,300,000.00. The return on
investment for
our client is $18,700.00 per unit per year. These units would realize a
total
return on investment of $523,600.00 with a total return of
$4,188,800.00 after
8 years.
National Center for
Atmospheric Research,
Designed
and built communication platform that was deployed in the Yucatan
Peninsula.
These units were to auto broadcast data every 12hrs back to NOAA during
this
research project. This project included Satellite Communications with a
LAN
package, Cisco 2600 series routers with a Sun Micro systems backup
server this
project finished at $200,000.00 in gross revenue. This equipment is
still in
the field working on different projects for NCAR/NOAA.
Pioneer Natural Resources
Designed and Engineered a Communications Platform for 15 DataVans for real time data and real time video streaming of well fracturing operations. These platforms included mil-spec satellite antenna systems with cellular failover and video conferencing.
Wi-Fi
and Bluetooth Intercom system and a Motorola Land Mobile Radio system.
Each
of these platforms were installed at a cost of $158,000.00 each. Each
of these
units can control multiple Frac locations from a single location.
Operational
costs for these units are around $8,000.00 a year.
Richard
Petty
Designed,
built and deployed
Richard Petty’s initial website. Responsible for all design and content
for the
site as well as fan message boards and offered online merchandise. In
addition,
we made personal appearances with Richard and his team at media events
and
marketing opportunities and we were featured on the television show
“Inside
Winston Cup” with host Claire B. Lange. We broadcasted the first live
NASCAR
event from Martinsville Speedway in Martinsville Virginia. Petty
Enterprises
was the 2nd NASCAR team to display a website on
their cars. (Second
only to Jeff Gordon)
Built and deployed 250 units of auto-acquiring satellite system for service in
North America's oilfields. Responsible for training Ensign staff of
field support personnel. The goal was to create a fleet of
automatically acquiring communications skids that were deployable by
Ensign's own staff removing the need to call a company to rig-up and
rig-down with each rig move. This eliminated a logistic issue as well
as the cost associated with each move. Now Ensign's staff simply places
the skid on the ground, plug it into power and presses one button and
in about 10 minutes they have internet and telephones.
